This series of children’s books seeks to re-tell some of the the most loved classic tales from Europe adding to them a distinctly African flavour, where the wolf in the Three Little Pigs is a Jackal and the wolf in Little Red Riding Hood is another predator more familiar to Africa, the hyena.

Sleeping Beauty is pricked by a hedgehog’s quill and not the original spinning spindle.
